Requests for date changes must be submitted in writing at least thirty (30) days before the original event date. Date changes are subject to the availability of machines and the receipt of a new booking agreement. If there is no availability for the requested alternate date, the deposit will be forfeited, and the event will be cancelled.
The deposit paid is non-refundable; however, Funky Fun will attempt to move your hire date if possible. Any cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the deposit paid. The final payment is also non-refundable unless Funky Fun fails to provide a machine for hire to the Customer.
If you cancel within 7 days of the event, 50% of the total booking amount will be due. If you cancel within 48 hours of the event, 100% of the booking amount will be due.
The Customer acknowledges that they are responsible and liable for any damage or loss to Funky Fun caused by misuse of the machines by the Customer or their guests. If the machines are deemed unfit for hire due to non-repairable damage, the Customer will be charged the full replacement value.
The Customer agrees to indemnify Funky Fun against any liability related to the Customer’s event, both during and after the event. This indemnification applies from the time of service onward against any liability associated with the Customer.
The machines can pose a potential hazard if hands or objects are placed in the bowl while the machine is in operation. The Customer and their guests are not permitted to use or touch the machines; they may only be operated by Funky Fun staff.
The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all children under 16 years of age are supervised at all times while near the machines and are not allowed to touch the machines or swing from the handles. Once the machines are in place, the Customer must ensure that they are not moved, lifted, or dismantled by anyone other than Funky Fun staff.
Funky Fun cannot be held responsible for any safety issues arising from the use of hired equipment or the consumption of sweet treats. Some ingredients may contain traces of nuts or nut oils and may have been stored in contact with nut products. Funky Fun is not liable for any issues resulting from food allergies. Allergen ingredient information will be made available upon request.
