It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable. Please ensure that the following safety instructions are followed: Any damage of theft will be paid for on collection of caste.

1) All Units have an age limit and a maximum user height. Please ensure no-one over this age uses the equipment.

2) No food, drink or gum shall be allowed on the equipment.

3) All persons shall remove their shoes, badges, jewellery, (i.e.large earrings, necklaces etc.) prior to use. It is recommended that spectacles are also removed.

4) No party-poppers, coloured streamers or “silly string” must be used near or on the inflatable, as they can permanently stain the unit.

5) No person(s) shall be permitted to partake whilst under the influence of alcohol, drugs &/or any other intoxicating substance. Smoking near the inflatable is not permitted.

6) Climbing, hanging, or sitting on the walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.

7) The use of the equipment will at ALL times be supervised by a responsible person aged 18 or over, who is not under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

8) Ensure that the inflatable is not overcrowded, and limit the numbers depending on age and size of children using it. If the children are colliding into each other then it is too crowded.

9) Avoid large children and small children from using the inflatable at the same time. Some children require strict supervision. Where adult use is permitted, adults and children are not permitted to participate on the same equipment at the same time.

10) Any damage deemed to be malicious or through misuse will be charged against the hirer.

11) Do not allow anyone to bounce on the step/front apron. The step is there to help users get on and off.

12) Ensure that no-one with a history of back / neck problems are allowed on the inflatable. Do not allow children with medical conditions that place them at risk of injury to use the castle e.g. – Brittle Bone Disease or temporary injuries etc.

13) Do not allow users to be on the unit during inflation or deflation.

14) In the event of heavy rain, everyone must be removed from the inflatable and not re-enter until the rain stops and inflatable is dried, it is strongly recommended that the inflatable be left on to stop water entering. Any wetness, including bubbling can be dried with a towel. In the event of high winds the inflatable should be deflated.

15) In the event that the blower overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, and then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, or there is a power cut, inform us IMMEDIATELY.

16) Ensure that the vent on the side of the blower is kept clear at all times.

17) If you are unsure about anything, please contact us.

18) All equipment must be used / operated in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations, including any limitations with regards to height and age.

Please note that all persons using this Bouncy Castle do so at their own risk.

The person/s or organisation hiring this Inflatable equipment will be responsible/liable

for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.

These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times.

Funky Fun cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

I have read the above terms and conditions and fully understand and accept.

I am aware that whilst in Funky Fun’s care we are fully responsible for the inflatable.


  1. All bookings are subject to a non- refundable deposit.
  2. Funky Fun Selfie Mirror will arrive at the venue 30mins – 1  hour early to ensure the successful set up and operation of the equipment.
  3. It is the responsibility of the customer to secure permission for the set up and running of the Selfie Mirror. Please be aware the Selfie Mirror cannot be sited outside unless in a marquee with the correct flooring.
  4. The Selfie Mirror will be set up in one location as agreed and cannot be moved.
  5. It is the customer’s responsibility to advise Funky Fun Selfie Mirror of any restrictions, access or parking issues that could adversely affect the performance of the Selfie Mirror.  The customer understands that any such restrictions may adversely affect the experience of the event or the quality of the images produced. Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror  is not responsible for the consequences of such restrictions.
  6. The customer will ensure there is a 13 amp power supply adjacent to the area of the Selfie Mirror/Photo.
  7. If Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror fails to comply with the terms of this agreement they shall only be liable for funds received. They shall not be liable for any further consequential damages.
  8. The customer agrees to indemnify Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror & against any liability from any claims, actions, suits, costs or damages including but not limited to liability for personal injury of any person at the event or any damage to property.
  9. Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror reserves all rights to the photographs captured during the event and may use for demonstration, publication, or other purposes. Original media and copyrights remain the exclusive property of Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror & Photo Booth.
  10. Payments are non-refundable upon cancellation of the event if the event is cancelled less than 4 weeks before the event date.
  11. Any failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation of this agreement. Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror  will make every attempt to provide notice to the customer before cancellation occurs.
  12. In the event of circumstances preventing Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror from attending the booked event (such as bad weather or traffic conditions etc) a full refund will be made or a pro-rata reduction in the event of a delayed start. No further compensation will be made.
  13. Funky Fun’s Selfie Mirror reserves the right to terminate the Selfie Mirror hire, if at any time the behaviour of the client (or a guest of the client) endangers the equipment or any person’s safety. In such circumstances no refund will be given.

Date Changes & Cancellations

Any request for a date change must be made in writing at least thirty days (30 days) in advance of the original event date. Change is subject to availability of the machines and receipt of a new booking agreement. If there is no availability for the alternate date, the deposit shall be forfeited and the event cancelled.

The deposit paid is non-refundable however Funky Fun will move your hire date if possible. Any cancellation will forfeit the deposit payment made.

The final payment is non-refundable unless Funky Fun do not provide a machine for hire to the Customer.

Damage to machines and Accessories

The Customer acknowledges that it shall be responsible and liable for any damage or loss to Funky fun caused by any misuse of the machines by the Customer or their guests. Should the  machines be deemed to be no longer fit for hire due to non-repairable damage the Customer will be charged at the full replacement value.


The Customer agrees to, and understands the following:

The Customer will indemnify Funky Fun against any and all liability related to the Customer’s Event during or after the Customer’s event. The Customer will indemnify Funky Fun from the time of service and on into the future, against any liability associated with the Customer.


The machines are a potential hazard if hands or items are placed in the bowl whilst the machine is in action. The Customer and/or their guests are not permitted to use or touch the machines. They may only be served by Fun Fun staff.

The Customer undertakes to ensure all children under 16 years old are supervised at all times while around the machines and are not permitted to touch the machines or swing from the handles.

Once in place the Customer is responsible for ensuring the machines are not moved, lifted or dismantled by anyone other than Funky Fun staff.

Funky Fun cannot be held responsible for any safety issues which occur from the use of hire equipment or consumption of the sweet treats. Some ingredients may contain traces of nut or nut oils and may have been stored in contact with nut produces. Funky Fun cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from any food allergy.

An allergen ingredient information will be made available upon request.


We request you pay a £50 charge for the ‘services’ in advance on booking. The balance to be paid before or on the day of the hire. Payment can be made by an online bank payment, on the day of the party by way cash or through Paypal.

Your obligations.

You agree that you will.

Advise Funky Fun if any child attending a party requires any assistance in relation to a disability, learning difficulties, sight or hearing problems. This will enable the organiser to staff the party accordingly.

We reserve the right to exclude any child from the party that is in our opinion disruptive, destructive or causing a danger to themselves or others.

No Alcohol is to be brought into any of the venues.

Additional work

Our charges that we agree with you are for the work that we agree at that time. If we are asked by you to carry out additional work or your instructions to us change we reserve the right to make an additional charge.


Should the party or event be cancelled by client within 7 days there will be a 50% charge if it is cancelled within 48hrs there will be 100% charge.

Funky Fun cancels the party, the deposit will be returned in full.

If the party is cancelled due to inclement weather, the deposit is returned as long as we haven’t left for delivery.


Either we or you shall be entitled to terminate this agreement immediately, by written notice to the other if the other commits any material breach of this agreement and in the case of a breach capable of remedy, fails to remedy it within 7 days after receipt of a written notice giving full details of the breach and requiring it to be remedied.


We warrant to you that we will seek to supply the services with reasonable skill and care. We accept liability for our own negligence, but only to the extent stated in this clause.

Nothing in this agreement shall be constructed as restricting or excluding our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or for fraud or, to the extent that such rights may not be contracted out of, as affecting the statutory rights of any person dealing as a consumer.

For the avoidance of doubt, in no event shall either party be liable to the other for any indirect or consequential loss of any nature and howsoever caused.

We do not have any implied obligation, duty or liability in contract other than those explicitly stated in this agreement.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any breach of this agreement caused by matters beyond our reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of god, fire, lightning, explosion, war, flood, disorder, industrial disputes (whether or not involving our employees), failures or interruptions of electricity supplies, weather or exceptional severity or acts of local or central government or other authorities.


No waiver or any amendment to these terms shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both you and us.

A person who is not a party to these terms may not enforce any of them under the contracts (Rights of the third parties) Act 1999.

Whilst Funky Fun will entertain the whole group and hold responsibility for the children on the track, parental supervision is required, with responsibility resting with the parents for the safety of the children off the track.

At the start of the party children are given full instructions on how to drive the Go-Karts and a full safety briefing.

Face painting is suitable for children over  3 years old.  2 year olds can have a small design on their hand only.  Under 2s cannot be painted.

  • We cannot paint anyone who appears to have a skin disorder, open wound, cold sores, conjunctivitis etc.
  • Face paint should be removed with soap, water and a face cloth within 8 hours and should not be worn overnight.
  • Do not remove face paint with baby wipes; this can cause staining on the skin and sometimes reaction
  • Some colours may linger on the skin, do not scrub, simply allow the face to settle and repeat the removal procedure.
  • Face paint should not be worn for long periods in the sun, it has no protection.
  • Face paints can, on rare occasions, cause an allergic reaction.  If your child has not had their face painted before we recommend a patch test so please speak to the team to arrange this.  A patch test will be monitored after 60 minutes to check for a reaction.
  • All paints comply with EU and FDA regulations.
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times; we cannot take responsibility for children standing in the queue and they can be refused painting without an adult.
  • Without prejudice we reserve the right to refuse painting anyone we deem unsuitable.

If any provision of these terms shall be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable under Contract Law, then that provision, or portion thereof, shall be deemed separate from the rest of this contract and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions, or portions thereof. This is the entire agreement between Funky Fun and the Customer relating to the subject matter herein and shall not be modified except in writing, signed by both parties. In the event of a conflict between the parties, the Customer agrees to solve any arguments via arbitration.

If no service is received, Funky Fun’s maximum liability will be the return of all payments received from Customer.

Funky Fun are not responsible for any consequential damages or lost opportunities upon breach of this agreement.

The Contract will commence when Funky Fun receive from the Customer a signed booking confirmation form (this can be confirmation via email) along with the deposit and shall terminate upon delivery of the services or as otherwise detailed in accordance with these Terms.

  1. To ensure we are able to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation of the machines Funky Fun request that the Customer and/or their guests notify Funky Fun staff of any instances of soiling, spillage or damage.
  2. We would ask that all persons using the service refrain from placing any food, drink and/or sharp objects on or in the machines. Funky Fun have the right to refuse service if this rule is not adhered to.
  3. The Customer is responsible for ensuring that no tea lights or candles are placed as decoration on the machines, and under no circumstances can anything such as banners or pictures be attached.
  4. Funky Fun will not tolerate any abuse or threatening behaviour to any of our team or abuse of the machines and/or accessories. Funky Fun retain the right to terminate this contract immediately in cases where our team feel they are being abused or threatened, or the machines and/or accessories are being, or are in danger of being, damaged due to the actions of any persons attending the Customer’s event
  5. NB The Customer will be fully responsible for any loss or damage caused by the Customer or their guests or other attendees at the event in relation to Funky Fun’s equipment or employees/contractors howsoever caused.
  6. The candy floss machine can only be situated on a firm flat surface. If the event is in a marquee or similar temporary structure, a suitable base will be required. The standard price assumes clear access at ground floor level. Where this cannot be achieved additional charges will be applied and stated 30 days prior to the event
  7. If Funky Fun staff deem the proposed location of the candy floss machine unsafe then Funky Fun reserve the right not to set up the machines.
  8. The Customer is responsible to ensure in advance that the venue allows reasonable access for loading and suitable parking once the equipment has been unloaded.
  9. Funky Fun normally allow one hour to set up the machines and it can be dismantled in a similar time (This does not affect your hire time). However, it does depend on where the machines are situated in the venue – no two jobs are the same.
  10. Funky Fun will endeavour to ensure that requested flavour choices are provided. However Funky Fun reserve the right to substitute flavour choices that are unavailable from suppliers
  11. The Customer is not permitted to use or mix their own flavourings with the flavourings provided by Funky FUn. This is for insurance and product traceability reasons.
  12. Any stock left over at the end of hire will be given to the customer.
  13. The Customer is responsible for ensuring Funky Fun have access to the event venue and to appropriate facilities, including, without limit, by arranging, in good time and at the Customer’s own expense, all permits, licenses and permissions necessary to enable Funky Fun staff to gain access to the venue and perform the services.


Should the party or event be cancelled by client within 7 days there will be a 50% charge if it is cancelled within 48hrs there will be 100% charge.

Funky Fun cancels the party, the deposit will be returned in full.

If the party is cancelled due to inclement weather, the deposit is returned as long as we haven’t left for delivery.
